Since 2012, we have been engaged in developing projects to protect the marine environment.
What we have done over the years:
Interventions to protect the seabed of the Maremma Sea,
Talamone’s Underwater Museum, where art protects nature,
educational activities at schools
Media communication initiatives (print, TV, social media),
What we want to do in the near future:
continue seabed protection interventions.
▪ extension of barriers for seabed protection and fish stocking,
▪ initiation of the octopi house project,
Expand the Submarine Museum and improve its accessibility,
Continue in teaching and communication activities.
To scientifically support our activities, since 2024 we have been funding, in collaboration with the Region of Tuscany, a two-year research project of the University of Siena, under which a researcher will be able to monitor the effectiveness of our interventions.
